If I don't live in the Borough of Bexley, can I use your services?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer services to people who do not live in the London Borough of Bexley. For details of your local mind please go to the National Mind website (www.mind.org.uk)
Can I park at Mind in Bexley offices?
No, unfortunately there are no parking facilities at Mind in Bexley's offices and the immediate surrounding areas, it is permit parking only.
Is Mind in Bexley the same as national Mind?
We are a local Mind association which means we are affiliated to national Mind and abide by national Mind standards and guidelines; however we are an independently managed organisation.
Can you lend/give me money?
Sorry, No. We can listen to your concerns and may be able to refer you to our welfare rights service or point you to, or help you contact services that can address your needs.
How do I access your Guided self help CBT service?
AllĀ those accessing the Guided Self Help CBT service are are referred by their GP. This is because of the way our service is funded.
How do I join the open access session?
The open access is a drop-in service and is open to anybody who is experiencing mental distress who is living in the Borough of Bexley. We do ask you to fill in a short application form with basic information and contact details.
When does the open access sessions open? Session runs on a Wednesday 12pm to 2pm .
How do I access the activities run outside the open access session?
We run and support a wide number of initiatives. Ask a staff member for more details.
Can I have a say about what activities the Mind in Bexley run?
Yes, we regularly ask your views about our activities and what activities you would like to see happen in the future. We also encourage users to participate in the user led choices forum, which meets every six weeks.
