Good mental health is the sense of well-being we have when all aspects of our lives are in balance - social, physical, spiritual, economic and mental.
Apart from the obvious part exercise plays in helping maintain a healthy lifestyle and weight management, exercise and physical fitness can also help to manage stress. Research also suggests that regular exercise helps people stay healthy when stressed.
Mind in Bexley offer a variety of keep fit activities throughout the year. We currently run armchair aerobics on Saturday mornings.
Many of our service users have benefited from taking part in our fitness programme and activities. Users have indicated an improvement in well-being and confidence through participation
