Beyond Red Special Debt Advice and Training Worker Job Vacancy

We are looking for a highly committed and dynamic individual to set up, deliver and monitor Beyond Red, a new and innovative debt advice, budget and debt training project. The post holder will provide a Debt and Budget Advice service to Bexley clients suffering from mental distress and to users accessing IAPT service in order to support their recovery processes by assisting them in managing current finances, budgeting for debt avoidance or to prevent further debt problems with the overall aim of taking control of their financial problems. The post holder will also provide some outreach provision to employers and community groups

You will be committed to promoting recovery and opportunity through debt advice and budgeting. If you have relevant debt advice and or welfare rights experience, are sensitive to the needs of people with mental health issues, committed to empowering individuals and have excellent communication and listening skills then we would really like to hear from you. Experience of debt and/or welfare rights advice and working with vulnerable individuals is necessary
